Thank You For Reaching Out!
Led by proud Kamilaroi man Steve Fordham, Second Chance for Change is one of the most powerful and successful rehabilitation programs in Australia. It’s more than a second chance — it’s a lifeline, a new direction, and a doorway to a life many never believed they could have.
While government programs see up to 88 out of 100 Indigenous inmates return to prison, Steve’s program has supported over 200 men, with only a handful ever re-offending. That’s not just a statistic — it’s proof. Proof that when we believe in people, they believe in themselves.
This is how we break the cycle.
This is how we restore fathers to their families.
This is how we create pathways to healing, employment, and pride.
This is how we change the story — for this generation, and the next.
Second Chance for Change helps men walk out of prison and into community, into culture, into fatherhood, into purpose. It turns pain into potential and incarceration into
inspiration. It’s not about what they’ve done — it’s about where they’re going, and who they can become.
This is not charity. This is transformation.
This is not a project. This is a movement.
This is one of the most effective, culturally grounded, and heart-led programs this country has ever seen.
With your support, we can take it even further.
Because when we create real pathways for our people to rise — we don’t just change lives. We change futures.
