FNAE-ROO’s
FNAE Roos — More Than a Team Our FNAE Roos aren’t just winning games — they’re rewriting futures. These fierce young women are rising through netball, building confidence, connection, and cultural pride. With every pass, every goal, and every challenge overcome, they’re showing what’s possible when community stands behind them.
This is more than sport. This is strength in motion.
Culture & Identity
We keep culture alive and strong in everything we do — from sharing stories and language, to running workshops that connect our mob to tradition, healing, and identity. Through every program, we’re building pride, passing down knowledge, and helping the next generation grow with strength, purpose, and deep cultural roots.
Because when culture thrives, our people rise.
Enterprise for Good
We run Indigenous-owned social enterprises that fund our programs and create real impact—through Yawu Brew Coffee, culturally designed vending machines, corporate art rentals, and BBQ trailers that are free for communities and rentable by businesses to support our work.
Connection & Community
We bring people together through local events, grassroots fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and long-term partnerships that support community-led action and strengthen the ties that hold us together.

Rescuing and Repurposing Furniture
At the Haven, we collect and store rescued furniture, which is lovingly repurposed for our New Beginnings program. This initiative provides safe, furnished housing for women and children escaping domestic violence, offering them not just a fresh start but a home filled with comfort and dignity.
-
Cultural Programs
The Haven is a hub for cultural enrichment and connection for the entire community. Through workshops in dot painting, storytelling, and basket weaving, people of all ages can engage with Indigenous heritage—fostering cultural pride, shared learning, and a deeper sense of identity and belonging.
-
New Beginnings
helps families who are transitioning from homelessness or domestic violence by providing essential household items such as furniture, clothing, and electrical goods at no cost. The program creates safe, functional homes and restores stability during periods of major life change.
-
Back-to-School Support
Every child deserves an equal start. At the Haven, we run a back-to-school program that equips struggling families with the school supplies their children need to thrive. From backpacks to stationery, we ensure no child is left behind due to financial hardship.
